Babu Ganesan is a highly accomplished technical expert with more than 30 years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting complex enterprise business systems for federal and commercial clients. With deep expertise in Oracle Applications, Unison PRISM, and large-scale financial and procurement environments, he specializes in creating reliable, efficient, and scalable solutions that streamline operations and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Babu has extensive experience leading end-to-end solution design and technical implementation, including Oracle Federal Financials, Oracle Financials, Oracle Projects, Oracle Service Contracts, and PRISM versions 5.0 through 7.5. His work consistently bridges functional needs with technical execution, enabling organizations to modernize legacy systems, enhance financial visibility, and optimize procurement workflows.

Babu has supported the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) in implementing a hosted PRISM solution integrated with Oracle Federal Financials. His responsibilities include developing interfaces for vendor data, financial transactions, and invoice processing—replacing legacy systems and strengthening enterprise-wide financial synchronization. 

Babu previously supported the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where he led several major initiatives such as designing a custom servicing-side G-Invoicing solution, integrating Oracle Procurement Cloud with Oracle EBS, upgrading the system to R12.2.9, and implementing asset integration with ServiceNow. His solutions improved data accuracy, reduced manual processing, and ensured seamless compliance with federal requirements.

From 2005 to 2019, Babu provided long-standing support to the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer. He designed and implemented DOE’s core PRISM-to-Oracle integration processes, built custom year-end and carry-forward functionality, enhanced non-integrated contractor interfaces, and delivered critical updates to support ARRA, DATA Act, and UPIID regulations. His work strengthened DOE’s ability to manage billions in obligations, cost, and payment data with accuracy and transparency. 

Babu holds a Master of Science in Bio Engineering from University of Toledo, Ohio and an Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India. Babu is proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, C, HTML, UNIX shell scripting, and multiple Oracle technologies.
